We are currently seeking a Golf Cart Technician at our Woodland branch. This is a full-time position and is an awesome opportunity for an individual who is seeking a career outside of the standard automotive mechanic day to day.  Individuals interested in everything from small engine repair, turf equipment maintenance, electrical diagnosis, and accessory installation/design will excel in this role.  Come join our Team! 

 
JOB DESCRIPTION:  

  • Perform complete inspection and refurbishment of pre-owned golf carts to include (but not limited to); replacement of cowl/body/roof, installation of a large variety of accessories, custom wheels/tires. 

  • Assemble new golf carts for stock/fleet/retail sold and install any requested accessories. 

  • Cleaning and detailing units prior to sale. 

  • Perform thorough pre-delivery inspections to ensure quality. 

  • Point person for keeping track of the fleet set up process. 

  • Diagnose and repair all makes and models of golf carts as well as turf equipment such as mowers, utility vehicles, and small engine equipment. 

  • Assist other technicians, as needed. 

  • Write service reports that accurately reflect work performed and parts used. 

  • Maintain all equipment and ensure tools are in good working condition. 

  • Maintain general housekeeping duties in shop and property maintenance. 

  • Work with the Service Manager to ensure consistent workflow. 

  • Help maintain and support safety policies. 

  • Ability to read, write and communicate with co-workers and managers. 

  • Other duties as assigned by management. 

 
 
KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of technician experience (automotive, small engine, or turf equipment) or verifiable technical training required. 

  • Experience with golf course or turf equipment (mowers, utility equipment, small engines, hydraulics) is strongly preferred. 

  • Familiarity with electrical systems, diagnostics, and small engine repair. 

  • Basic set of tools required. 

  • Ability to perform physical labor, including routinely lifting up to 50 lbs; position requires lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, twisting, and pulling daily. 

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to be insured. 

  • Position is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen.

COMPENSATION: 
Hourly, Full Time 
Compensation: $24 -28 per hour DOE 

Benefits: Benefit package available, including a 401(k) Plan with company match 
Hours: Day shift, M-F
